So it is even more interesting. There are differences between Mac and Windows rendering various letters.

The space is v helpful, I have to draw these characters myself which is v time intensive. Consider it something I hope to get to in the medium term

That is fine. It is simply difficult and I am quite used to that some letters are not displayed properly (especially ř).
