I see this on Firefox and Edge. If I click on the broken image appearing thing, it does add the gif (mp4) as a card. I don’t see any errors in the Network tab.

are you still having this issue? I can’t repro using firefox
If so, can you send me the outgoing network requests to giphy? have they completed or did they time out? what happens if you click one of those broken images?

Try the GIF tab?
I just reproduced on Firefox. All network requests to giphy are 200s. When I click on a broken image, it works. The image gets added to my space.
