Can I get a quick opinion on how ok it is to use the linode/kinopio URL of images for blog posts on my own site and syndicated places?

I often capture screenshots by pasting them into kinopio, so it becomes convenient to use that URL as the primary server of the image. I could download em and re-host. I’m just sounding it out – if you say don’t do it, I won’t :slight_smile:

I’m guessing you’re not charged for egress on Linode, just storage volume?

It’s totally okay ,

I’m charged for egress over a cap but it’s negligible for anything that’s not malicious/warez

FYI, I’m going to do the same. As @stegriff says, I’m already using Kinopio to plan my posts, so it’s super convenient if I can just link to the images here :stuck_out_tongue:
